Levi Miller Named Upper School Principal

It is our pleasure to announce the selection of Mr. Levi Miller as Upper School principal. Mr. Miller grew up in the Arkansas Baptist School System and is a member of the 2005 graduating class. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Arkansas in 2009 and then joined the teaching staff at the Upper School.

Mr. Miller learned early in his career that effective leadership and support are the most critical elements of teaching because everything the teacher does is framed by the way the leadership operates. While continuing to teach, he pursued a Masters in School Leadership, Management and Administration. He has completed his Master’s program and is ready to begin his journey in school administration.

Mr. Miller will be a school administrator who understands what it takes to be successful with kids, how the school should be organized, what supports need to be in place, how learning for teachers can be encouraged as well as learning for students and how to get the parental and community supports in place that let teachers do their jobs effectively.

We believe we have a healthy harvest in the selection of Levi Miller. His journey will not be without challenge. But, we will surround him and support him so that he can be strong and effective. Mr. Miller is an excellent exemplar in the classroom, and we are confident in his ability to continue to build the quality of instruction delivered at Baptist Prep. We congratulate Mr. Miller and ask that you pray for him and his family as he takes on this very important new role.

As always, we appreciate your trust and partnership in the education of your children.
