Church and School Committed to Glorifying God while Discipling the Next Generation

"The mission of Baptist Prep is what makes it unique. Biblical integration is a core value in our philosophy of education," continued Pastor Curtis. "The members of FBLR were resolved to ensure that every teacher unashamedly teaches the Bible in every classroom in every subject every day."

Pastor Curtis is personally invested in the school as his nephew and niece graduated from Baptist Prep in 2015 and 2017, respectively. And his daughter, Isabella, is a seventh-grader at Baptist Prep.

"Every organization goes through seasons, and this is a really exciting season for us. All the oars in the boat are working in the same direction to increase enrollment and expand opportunities for our students," shared Pastor Curtis. "I am most excited about our new leader, Dr. Greg Jones. Greg is uniquely qualified and gifted to take us into a new season at Baptist Prep. My hope and prayer for Baptist Prep is that we will continue to improve on executing our mission by giving our students more opportunities to prepare them physically, socially, and academically."

Pastor Curtis joined the FBLR staff in 2008. He is a native Arkansan graduating from Henderson State University. He has earned two master's degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Finishing his Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages and Master of Arts in Christian Education, he earned a Ph.D. in Foundations of Education.
