What are your summer operating hours?
In the months of June and July, the school offices are open from 8:00 a.m.—3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Otherwise, the times are the same as the school year.

Are Baptist Prep teachers certified?
All of our teachers are certified with the state Department of Education or Association of Christian Schools International and many hold Master’s degrees.
What kinds of sports do you offer?
Sports begin in the 4th grade with basketball for both and girls and football for boys. Beginning in the 5th grade, girls may participate in cheerleading. In junior and senior high school, the following sports are offered: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, swimming, track, cheerleading, archery, volleyball and sport shooting.
How can I receive financial aid?
There is a limited amount of financial aid available to Baptist Prep families each year. Financial aid is given on a needs-basis as determined by an independent outside organization. A family must be fully registered in order to apply for financial aid.

If my child is academically advanced, how will he/she be challenged?
Before being accepted at Baptist Prep, a student’s academic credentials are gathered and placement is evaluated. The daily curriculum content is accelerated, and students will be highly challenged. At the upper school level, college credit, college-prep, honor and AP classes are offered to our students. Should a student evidence the need for advancement, the teachers will individually meet that challenge to benefit the student.

How many students do you have?
The school has approximately 600 students.
How much do lunches cost?
Lower School lunches are $4.70 and include juice, milk, or bottled water.
Upper School lunches are $6.75 a day.
Does Baptist Prep have the Accelerated Reader program?
Is it required that a family be a member of a Baptist church in order for a child to attend Baptist Prep?
No. Our student body is representative of a diversity of faith expressions. Over 110 churches in Central Arkansas are attended by the Baptist Prep family. Families who are not presently invested in a church home are also welcome to explore the opportunities offered at Baptist Prep.

How can I get involved with the school?
No matter what age your child is, there is a place for you to get plugged into Baptist Prep. We have a Parent Connection (PC) for the Lower School and Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) for the Upper School. If you are interested in either band or athletics, we have booster clubs for both.
